TypeMay / Studio notes

Your words stay with you.

How TypeMay handles pasted text, local fonts, browser storage and hosting requests.

Your text and fonts stay in your browser

TypeMay runs cleanup, counting, comparison and export on your device. Pasted text, imported text and local font files are not uploaded. The app does not use an AI service to process your writing.

Storage and downloads

Text, undo history and imported fonts live in memory in the current tab. TypeMay does not save them to cookies, local storage or a remote account. Closing or reloading the tab clears the workspace. Save a text or project file if you want to keep your work. Downloads are created locally through your browser.

Network requests

Your browser requests the website, photographs, scripts and bundled fonts from our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Hosting necessarily processes connection information such as your IP address and request headers. No third-party analytics, advertising scripts, session recording or payment integration is active in this version.

Measurement

The code exposes content-free in-memory events for completed copies, applied cleanups and initiated downloads. No collector receives them. We do not currently measure cross-visit return use. Any future analytics or sponsor integration will require an updated disclosure and appropriate controls.

External links

Reference and license links take you to independent websites with their own policies. Local font licensing remains your responsibility. The about page explains the tools’ limitations and asset sources.
