Review a batch without rewriting the originals
- Choose local UTF-8 .txt files. Documents, PDFs and binary formats must first be exported as plain text.
- Select cleanup settings or reuse a named preset. Each file is processed independently with the same reversible cleanup engine as the single-text workspace.
- Select every file that needs review. Compare original and preview, read the warnings and inspect the change highlight.
- Download one result at a time or the complete set of valid results as a ZIP. Output names include “-cleaned”; duplicate names receive a numbered suffix.
What is preserved?
The original files on your device are never changed. Batch text is held in this tab’s memory; it is not automatically stored in the saved-workspace library. Every settings change recomputes from the original, and Undo settings restores up to 20 prior choices. Line endings are kept unless a selected transformation changes them. Text previews use automatic reading direction and preserve joiners and directional controls.
Limits and errors
Invalid UTF-8, unsupported file types, binary control bytes and over-limit files are rejected explicitly. A rejected file never silently becomes an empty output. An intentionally empty text file is valid and receives a warning. English quotation and Latin hyphen options are heuristics; review your language and content before applying them.
Saved presets contain settings only. The single-text workspace can explicitly save and restore a named text project on this device, and export a backup. Read privacy and storage details, or follow the multilingual handoff guide.
