A specimen is a starting point

These are unmodified regular or variable upright fonts from Google Fonts, pinned to a recorded repository commit. The catalog displays author, source, family-level subset labels and axes directly from publisher metadata. Those labels do not prove that every glyph or every language is supported by the individual font file.

Missing glyphs can use browser fallback. Test the exact scripts, accents, numerals and punctuation in your project. Family metadata can include capabilities not selected in the upright specimen. Review shaping with a fluent reader and inspect the actual file when coverage is critical.

The fonts are supplied under their own SIL Open Font License 1.1 notices. Read each license for redistribution, embedding and reserved-name terms. There is no claim that all fonts elsewhere on the web share these permissions. Compare files in the private font workspace.
